First class

I'm a fourth grade teacher finishing up my masters! Typically I hate posting any information about myself on the internet so this is going to be a very strange experience. I have a bachelors of arts in education and a bachelors of science in psychology. I spent a year as a literacy intern, have worked on a literacy reading grant, and am currently finishing my masters in reading and language arts. Oddly enough I hate reading, and I think that I would rather have my teeth pulled, then sit down and read a book to this day. Yet I love teaching reading. I think that this mentality helps me connect with struggling readers.
